Grindr for iPad takes the Grindr experience to the next level by using enhancements made possible by the technological savvy of the iPad. Grindr for iPad offers users an easier and even more streamlined option for interacting with other like-minded guys in the world around them.
Just as with other versions, Grindr for iPad utilizes GPS* and cellular technologies to allow users to locate gay, bi, or curious men nearby, view profiles and photos, and instantly connect with users via chat. However, with Grindr for iPad, the experience of making those connections between users has been optimized to take full advantage of new functionality made possible by the iPad.

- Images of Grindr users are displayed in crisp, crystal clear color thanks to iPad’s sharp, 9.7-inch, LED-backlit screen and ultra-wide 178-degree viewing angle.
- Rather than being superimposed over user images, detail information in user profiles is listed below profile photos in much larger type than in any other version of Grindr. This allows users to review profiles with greater clarity.
- When users double tap on a profile image, it is magnified to nearly the full size of the iPad screen.
- Grindr for iPad allows users to seamlessly sync profiles and favorites with other Grindr compatible smartphones and jump back and forth between their iPad, iPod, iPod touch, iPhone devices and future platforms.
