Nevada Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This Nevada Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy (“Nevada Health Data Policy”) explains how Grindr Processes the Consumer Health Data of Nevada residents and individuals whose Consumer Health Data is Collected in Nevada (“Nevada Consumers”) pursuant to the Nevada Consumer Health Data law (“Nevada Law”). This Nevada Health Data Policy covers these activities across our Grindr Properties. Capitalized terms that are not otherwise defined in this Nevada Health Data Policy shall be defined as they are in the Nevada Law.

In the event of a conflict between any other policy, statement, or notice and this Nevada Health Data Policy, this Nevada Health Data Policy will prevail as to Consumer Health Data Collected from or about Nevada Consumers.

For the purposes of this section, “Nevada Consumer Health Data” means personally identifiable information that is linked or reasonably capable of being linked to a Nevada Consumer and that a Regulated Entity uses to identify the past, present or future health status of the Nevada Consumer. We collect the following Nevada Consumer Health Data from Nevada Consumers for the specified purposes.

We may use and Share any Nevada Consumer Health Data we collect in order to comply with law enforcement activities or as expressly authorized by federal or state law, including to comply with valid legal process.

We may Share Consumer Health Data with third parties where we obtain consent from the Consumer for another purpose or where permitted or authorized by another provision of law. We Share Consumer Health Data among our Affiliates to carry out our operations and provide services to Consumers.

We do not Sell Consumer Health Data. In the event this changes, we will not Sell Consumer Health Data without first obtaining valid authorization from the applicable Consumer.

Third Parties do not Collect Nevada Consumer Health Data over time and across different Internet websites or online services when a Consumer uses the Grindr Properties.

Nevada Consumers have the right to submit certain requests relating to your Consumer Health Data, specifically Nevada Consumers have the right to:

Confirm whether we are Collecting, Sharing, or Selling your Consumer Health Data

Request that we cease Collecting and/or Sharing your Consumer Health Data

Request that your Consumer Health Data be deleted

Receive a list of all Third Parties with whom we have Shared your Consumer Health Data

Nevada Consumers that have been denied one of the above enumerated rights have the right to request an appeal. If you choose to exercise any of your privacy rights, we will not discriminate against you.

Exercising Your Rights

Verification. The easiest way to exercise your rights while protecting your privacy and security is by logging into your account so we can verify your account ownership. You can also make a request outside of your Grindr account by clicking here, but then we'll require some additional information to authenticate your identity and ownership of your account.

Authorized Agents. Grindr will accept requests from authorized agents on behalf of individuals who reside in a state that allows requests through an authorized agent. If you are an authorized agent for an individual who resides in a state that allows requests through an authorized agent, please click here to submit a request and attach a signed designation form from the individual that you represent authorizing you to serve as the individual's agent for the purposes of exercising the individual's rights under the applicable privacy law. Individuals can optionally notarize the document or provide a Power of Attorney document along with the signed designation form. If you do not provide the signed designation form, we cannot honor any requests you submit on behalf of the individual.

Appeals. Depending on the state in which you reside, you may be able to appeal a decision made regarding your privacy request by submitting a request here. In the event we deny your appeal, you will provide a written explanation of the decision, and instructions on how to contact your local Attorney General for further review where permitted under certain U.S. state privacy laws.

Opt-Out Preference Signals. Grindr will attempt to recognize and process opt-out preference signals in a seamless manner. In addition to opting out of the sale (or sharing for cross-contextual behavioral advertising) of your Personal Information via settings in the Grindr Services or submitting a request here, you can also opt-out by broadcasting an opt-out preference signal ("Signal"), such as the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") on a browser and/or a browser extension that support such a Signal. The ability to process your Signals may depend on the Grindr Properties that you are browsing:

If you are browsing Grindr Web (either on a mobile or web browser), your request to opt-out of sale via the Signal will be processed and linked to your account (i.e., the opt out will be in effect when you log in to the Grindr App).

If you are browsing a non-Grindr Services web domain (e.g., Grindr Site or Grindr Blog) or if you are not logged into your Grindr account (e.g., Grindr Web's landing page), your request to opt-out of sale via the Signal will be processed and linked to your browser identifier only (and not linked to your Grindr account because the connection between your browser and the account is not known to us).

If you are browsing the Grindr App, your request to opt-out of sale via the Signal will not be processed as Signals are currently only supported by browser experiences.

Do Not Track. Some web browser settings may allow you to automatically transmit a "Do Not Track" signal to online services you visit. Note, however, there is no consensus as to what "Do Not Track" means in this context. Like many online services, Grindr currently does not recognize automated browser signals regarding tracking mechanisms, which may include "Do Not Track" instructions. To find out more about "Do Not Track," you can visit https://www.allaboutdnt.com.
