"Access requests" correspond to "requests to know" under the CCPA.
This number includes requests denied by our Customer Support team and also requests where a user made an access request, was provided instructions with how to complete the access request (i.e., via the "Download My Data" tool), and did not respond to confirm that they took the appropriate steps (e.g., the user could have downloaded their data from within the Services, changed their mind about the request, etc.).
Note: access requests are denied when no Grindr account of the requesting user can be identified or the user did not complete the appropriate account verification procedures.
This number includes requests that are considered "abandoned" the "Download My Data" flow (i.e., a request is submitted through the "Download My Data" tool but the user fails to submit the verification code in order to securely receive the data files) or "failed" due to unexpected technical errors (e.g., network issues, database downtime, etc.).
"Correction requests" correspond to "requests to correct" under the CCPA.
Represents the number of times a user requested correction of the information in their account by contacting Grindr customer support. At any time, Grindr users may update the information in their profile.
"Erasure requests" correspond to "requests to delete" under the CCPA.
Represents the number of times a user requested deletion of their account by contacting Grindr customer support.
Represents the number of times a profile was requested to be deleted.
Erasure requests are only denied when Grindr does not contain any record of the user or the user did not complete the appropriate account verification procedures.
This number includes denied requests. This number also includes the number of times a user contacted Grindr with an erasure request, was provided instructions on how to complete the account erasure independently, then did not reply with the action they took (e.g., changed their mind or deleted the profile independently).
"Opt Out requests" correspond to "opt out of selling or sharing for cross-contextual behavioral advertising" under the CCPA.
Represents the number of times a user requested an opt-out from at least one processing purpose by contacting Grindr customer support.
Represents the number of times a user requested an opt-out from at least one processing purpose as presented by Grindr's consent management platform, OneTrust.
Opt-out requests are only denied when Grindr does not contain any record of the user or the user did not complete the appropriate account verification procedures.
"Respond" corresponds to "substantively responded" under the CCPA.
,17,18,19Corresponds to the mean number of days taken by Grindr customer support to respond to such requests.
